[Noctis side-steps to the right. Even with most of the muscle memory gone, he remembers how Gladio likes to operate. Years of sparring together and being taught by him had to come in handy somehow.
Yet instead of simply striking back, he kicks again. Kicks and spins, using the momentum as he jumps into the air to drop-kick at Gladio's shoulder. It leaves him open, but the potential to strike with both wooden blades was too much not to take. Neither the kick or the strikes will do much damage; they aren't supposed to. Though if Gladio isn't careful, the kick can hurt. Maybe even leave a nasty bruise or bump.
As if he needed any real reason to be even more of a fan of aerial combat.]
[Even as Noct dodges his attack, Gladio grins with pride. The kid's moving pretty well and the next attack flows easily from Noct's side-step. And of course it's an aerial attack.
He grunts as he lifts his blade so the flat of it takes the kick's impact, Gladio pushing against Noct's foot with it in an effort to off-balance. After pushing the kick away he lets the double strike land, grunting with both blows, so he can take a swing at Noct's open side immediately after his second blade hits.]
That all you got? Thought you were angry, Princess.
[Goading? Of course. Gladio wants to push Noct's anger to the surface so he can get it out. And if that means taunting him a bit, so be it. Besides, it's not like Noct could miss the pride in his eyes at his improving technique.]
I can help with this.... the first part, anyway. :3

Do I find your icons in a different journal?
